All Aboard!

While the month of July is generally the time when people leave for the beaches or the mountains on vacation, the AV group has been very busy with several large “in progress “projects with JFK Air Train, Battery Park City Ferry Terminal, and NYC Brooklyn Cruise Terminals.  Also, we welcome the addition of the newest team member Mr. Lou Ciccone.

Strategic Partnership: Casey Systems and GE

Siedle Intercom System

“The Hit Factory” one of the best-known recording studios of all time, a legendary place and state of mind lives on.  In its day, band and engineers jockeyed to record tracks and mix albums in its luxurious, cutting-edge studios ultimately earned its name for more than four decades, producing landmark music and platinum sales.  Today, “The Hit Factory” is a residential building in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, one whose design embraces the studios musical past and future.  The 27 lofts are as cutting-edge and luxurious in their modern living amenities as the studio once was with its high-tech hit-making machine.  Casey Systems is part of this transition from recorded “hits” to apartment “high-tech” having been awarded the contract to provide a Siedle Intercom System.  Siedle “the Roles-Royce” of Intercoms installed in many of the luxurious residences throughout New York City has the look and features expected by the residences that live there.  Features include:

  • Entry swivel/tilt color video camera with built-in proximity card reader

  • Illuminated dialing keypad with digital display

  • Elevator control via proximity card reader and elevator surveillance via color video camera to the concierge’s desk

  • Visual monitoring of entry station and elevator cab from apartment color video stations

  • Full duplex voice communication from entry station to concierge and all apartment stations

  • Built-in privacy circuit to prevent third party eavesdropping from entry station to all apartment stations
