Casey Systems
will provide the engineering and system integration of the “L“ Train
upgrade to a digital public address system for all subway
stations on the Canarsie Line. The project includes general
analysis, software and hardware design and installation, and
comprehensive field-testing of the Innovative Electronic Designs
(IED) public address system.
The systems’ components are being integrated into the
subway platforms, waiting areas, and token booth areas for all
stations on the Canarsie Line. The new system’s audio features
include live, prerecorded and emergency announcement
capability.
 Casey
Systems placed all of the integrated systems’ components into NEMA 4
(National Electrical Manufacturer Association) enclosures. Our
strategy in doing so was to provide the equipment with superior
protection against possible damage by water, dirt, dust and
debris.

We proudly offer our clients GE Security’s new
Ultraview Dome Camera™ with XPosure™ technology. A discreet yet
economical security solution, the Ultraview Dome measures less than
five inches in width and is ideal for brightly lit areas such as
those with wide glass doors or large windows.
Using intelligent
image processing, XPosure optimizes each pixel. This technology
captures exceptional detail in shadows while simultaneously managing
and minimizing the effects of bright glare or reflection. This
system is most helpful when viewing and recording fine details like
facial features or expressions. It enables users to easily examine
subjects situated in bright locations such as outside an entrance,
in a sun-lit lobby or in a warehouse with overhead skylights.
XPosure outperforms traditional camera technology in situations
where often little more than silhouette imagery is captured.
Available to all Casey Systems customers is GE
Security’s new SymVeo™ security camera. This new system combines
GE’s XPosure™ technology with MPEG-4 compression for the efficient
distribution of data over a network. Ideally suited for challenging
lighting conditions, the camera’s network capability expands options
for viewing. A frame-rate transmission of 30 frames per second at
full D1 (DVD quality) resolution allows for the smooth viewing of
high-quality images. SymVeo is well-suited for all surveillance,
remote monitoring and web-casting
applications. |
